Our trainers at CBA know what it takes to play at the next level as all of them have years of playing experience at the college level. Whether you are in middle school, high school or college, our trainers will help to fine tune your game while preparing you both mentally and physically for whatever level it is that you are trying to reach. The CBA Team is 100% committed to our athletes in helping them grow both on and off of the court. Through mentoring and training, we WANT to help you maximize your potential. Matt Gibson- Founder/CEO

Lesley University

 

Matt founded CBA in 2012 with the vision of taking his knowledge that he has accumulated over his long basketball career, along with his passion for the game and teaching, to help kids everywhere in maximizing their potential, on and off the court. A student of the game, Gibson has been involved with the game of basketball as a player, coach, writer and on the operational side of basketball.
 

Gibson was the captain for the Lesley University Men’s Basketball team where he led the team in scoring in the NECC. He was also a member of the NECC Academic-All Conference Team and a student-athlete mentor for Lesley's Athletic Program. A native of Quincy, MA, Gibson graduated in 2009 from Lexington Christian Academy, where he was also captain and a 2x EIL First Team All-Star, with invites to play in both the Greater Boston and New England Prep School All-Star Games. He also won a 17-U AAU State Championship and placed 10th in nation with the Bay State Magic, playing alongside 7 current Division I players. His squad attended 5 Division I AAU Nationals.

Outside of playing, Gibson writes for Dime Magazine, the internationally known basketball magazine out of NYC. He also was instrumental in organizing the 2012 Zero Gravity National Finals, comprised of 256 teams from North Carolina to Canada. In addition, Coach Gibson has covered events for New England and NY Recruiting Report and has coached at various Hoop Mountain Basketball Camps for four years. Gibson will be getting his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lesley this spring with plans on grad school in the fall.

CJ Moss- Trainer/Coach​

Tufts University

 

CJ is a self made basketball player who has put in countless hours in the gym and weight room throughout his extremely successful basketball career.
A native of Westport, MA, Moss has started at point guard for Tufts University during his Freshman and Sophomore campaigns. In addition, Moss was runnerup for Rookie of the Year in the NESCAC, arguably the most competitive Division III Conference in the Nation.

Moss also graduated from the Taft School in Connecticut, where he was captain and a 1,000 point scorer. Garnering attention from Division I programs, Moss ultimately chose Tufts for the academic and athletic fit.
CJ has worked for Hoop Mountain for the past years at their camps and clinics and also has coached at the Bishop Hendricken Basketball Camps in Rhode Island.

CJ brings an intensity and passion for the game that is unmatched to every workout.​

Kris Camelio-

NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist​

Gordon College

​

​Kris graduated from Gordon College with a BS inKinesiology, with a concentration in Physical Therapy. Kris understands how to take care of your body and what it takes to become a college athlete as he played Center Field for Gordon’s Baseball team. A personal trainer at Commonwealth Sports Club in Allston, Kris has a breadth of practical experience in strengthening, conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, in settings that range from training rooms and outpatient clinics to sport-specific facilities.

Kris is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and believes that everyone should have an opportunity to train like a professional athlete.

Mike Kaufman-

Media Coordinator/Trainer

Lesley University

​

​Mike is a captain of the Lesley University Men’s Basketball Team where he is a Business Major. During his Sophomore campaign, Kaufman broke the school record for three pointers in a single game vs Southern Vermont, with 8.


A native of Boca Raton, Florida, Mike started his own film production company called Team 511 (team511productions.com) and has had the chance to film NBA Stars Joe Johnson and Jeremy Pargo.

​

In addition, Mike has worked for Harvard Athletics for the past two years.
